Wonderfest 2021 • Friday, June 4th

9:00am - 5:00pm • Crown Plaza Hotel•Louisville, KY

Tired of double-fisted frustration when it comes to painting your model kits? Fear not Citizens, AFM’s “Modeling Boot Camp," a target specific painting clinic that presents an informative modeling curriculum is here to save the day! Featuring AFM’s very own Dave Prosser, you’re sure to improve your skills as he leads you step by step in demonstrating an arsenal of effective painting and finishing techniques. Mr. Prosser’s modeling expertise has enhanced the pages of Amazing Figure Modeler for years and now you can gain firsthand insight into the ‘Professor’s’ 30-year career of modeling expertise, with this unique, one-day “hands on” clinic that’s held in a friendly and relaxed setting at the Nation’s Premier GK Show, WonderFest 2021!

All students will receive a superb, bat-tastic 1/3-scale resin bust beautifully sculpted by Gabe Perna and flawlessly poured by Gary Haven’s Resin Dust Kits. And as an AFM Class exclusive, we’re also throwing in a pair of fashionable detailing goggles as well as a set of quality paints and brushes provided by Reaper Miniatures, all to keep and take home! Modelers need only to bring themselves as all other modeling supplies will be provided! This year’s hand-painting class is designed to allow modelers maximum exposure in simulating subtle airbrushing effects, but without the airbrush! You’ll learn how to master the effects of dry brushing neutral colors (i.e. blacks, browns and tans) to enhance subtle, textured details as well as learning sponge painting techniques to achieve superior blending effects. You’ll also be training to master the look of realistic flesh via the pastel stick shading and masking process as well as several other specialized modeling techniques. And don’t forget, all attendees for this year’s class will receive a free four issue subscription or renewal to Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine for free! That’s right, a whole years worth of AFM coverage, a Forty-dollar value, absolutely free.  Join in the fun and don’t miss out! AFM’s all day “Model Boot Camp” will be held on Friday, June 4th between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville, KY! If your familiar with AFM’s “Modeling Boot Camps," then you know how successful our programs are. Previous class attendees have won awards with their modeled busts and now there’s no reason why you can’t too!  In fact, you’d have to have bats in yer belfry not to takes up on this exciting and fun class ol’ Chum! Class tuition cost is only $250 per student, offered on a limited seating capacity and its open to modelers of all skill levels. So mark the date Citizens and hitch up now for a modeling tour of duty you won’t soon forget! Apply and reserve your seat below or to mail or phone your order, contact class coordinator Terry J.
